Rediscovered foundation and FOTD

I don't know about any of you, but I tend to have a short attention span when it comes to make up. I always want to try the newest thing out there .. Always on the hunt for my new holy grail product.

This is never more true than it is with foundation. I am constantly trying new foundation. This sometimes, we'll actually usually ends up with a collection if foundation sitting on my vanity. I've recently been trying to use up any of my extra foundations and in the process have recently rediscovered an old favorite ...

Neutrogena Healthy Skin foundation was my go to foundation for a very long time. I know it's one is the more expensive foundation at the drug store, but it's worth the price tag.

The coverage is more on the light side of medium coverage, but it seems to be enough coverage. The nice thing about this foundation is it seems to help keep your face clear. Which means a lighter foundation will work because you have less to cover up.

I took pictures while I was getting ready to show you how it looks...

Left - clean face, only moisturizer and my primer

Right - foundation (I look so angry! Promise I'm not!! Lol)

Left - foundation only

Right - full face

As you can see in my first picture with only moisturizer I have some dark circles under my eyes (thankfully they are lighter today) and some uneven skin tone. The healthy skin evens all of this out!

And now on to the rest of the look... I wanted this face look to surround around this wet n' wild pallet that my sister gave to me while I was visiting over the holiday..

The colors in this are great and pigmented. The orange in the top right and the brown in the middle are matte shades. The brown in the bottom right has a small amount of glitter. And the two on the left have a shimmer/l to them.. Very beautiful!

I used the nude shadow all over my lid and as a highlight on my brow bone. Then used a combination of the other three outside shades to build up the color in my putter "v". Finally, using the matte brown to set my eyeliner for this look ...
